The Georgia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators
(GASFAA) would like to invite you to become a member of this statewide
professional organization. GASFAA consists of over 350 individuals
from over 120 institutions.
A GASFAA membership offer you a valuable link to the financial aid
world in Georgia. GASFAA provides assistance to financial aid professionals
at educational institutions, foundations, lending institutions, governmental
agencies and private and community organizations.
The cost to join this Association is only $30.00 per financial aid
year. As a paid member, you will receive many benefits including:

Fall and Spring Conferences (Registration fees are reduced
for members), New Aid Officers/Support Staff Training, Default Prevention
Workshops, "Hot Topic" Workshops, and professional development
seminars for one and all.

- The Editorial Board publishes 3 editions annually: Fall, Spring,
and Summer.

offers a comprehensive listing of members, the Executive Board
Members, award recipients, past presidents, Bylaws and the Strategic
Plan.

information and seeks to make GASFAA a part of the e-technology

Legislative Action
Provides GASFAA members with information regarding current
legislative issues at the national and state levels.

Seasoned professionals provide one-on-one guidance, advise, & support
to new financial aid professionals.

There are a number of committees that work very hard to
carry out the goals and objectives of this Association. We would
like to encourage and challenge you to volunteer and get involved
with a committee this year. You will find that volunteering can be
a very rewarding experience.
