Welcome to the Georgia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (GASFAA) website!

GASFAA is a nonprofit professional organization with the purpose of promoting preparation and effectiveness of Georgia’s Administrators of Student Financial Aid at postsecondary institutions, governmental agencies, foundations, lending institutions and others who administer student financial aid programs.
 
GASFAA facilitates communications between educational institutions and sponsors of student financial aid funds through an exchange of ideas, information, and experience. 

GASFAA provides training workshops, conferences, and other related activities to promote professional development for those assisting students with financing their education.

GASFAA’s membership comprises of over 500 student financial aid professionals. 

GASFAA coordinates efforts with the Southern and National Associations of Student Financial Aid Administrators (SASFAA and NASFAA respectfully).

GASFAA, as an organization, strives to work with all sectors of Georgia’s financial aid profession to help ensure representation and participation in the association’s activities and endeavors.  We proudly promote the professionalism of the business of student financial aid.  Our concern for professionalism and leadership in student financial aid is driven by the commitment to provide quality services to the students of Georgia.

The Executive Board members and I are honored to serve this great organization that has given financial aid guidance and assistance to students and colleges of Georgia since 1967.
